New Regular Meetings and an Upcoming Special Meeting on November 16th

Dear Friends,

Last night was a tremendously encouraging time sitting under the preaching of Pastor Campbell as he preached a message on revival from the Psalms. It was a true encouragement and stimulus to continue to pray for the city of Asheville and the surrounding area. Pastor Campbell made the point that prayer is the foundation for every revival in history. It is our prayer that God would revive his work not only in this area but all across America. We all thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship meal that followed and it was a good opportunity for folks to meet the newly installed pastor of our sending church, Pastor Bob Selph.

Speaking of whom, it is my pleasure to announce that Pastor Bob is coming up to our Bible Study on FRIDAY, November 16 at 6:30 PM to speak with families about the future plans for the Asheville work. This will be held in Hendersonville, at the Hostetler's home. We will be having an abbreviated Bible study, led by Chris Powell prior to the discussion and presentation. Pastor Selph is not only the new pastor in the Taylors church, but he continues to be the Coordinator for the Association of Reformed Baptist Churches in America.

It's also my pleasure to also announce that we are adding to our slate of meetings starting this week. Up to this point we have met one Wednesday a month for prayer and planning. Starting this week we will meet every Wednesday evening at the Hostetler's home. We will keep one Wednesday a month for planning and prayer, but we will start a new series using John Piper's "Don't Waste your Life" book and video series. There will be study guides provided at the study to all participants. You can purchase the book quite inexpensively or even read the whole book online. The Study Guide is also available online.

Please join us for any and all meetings. It is our joy to pursue a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Asheville.
